Katrena Osborne’s Qualifications and Career Overview
Katrena Osborne is the owner of Pilates Exercise & Therapy Centre and is the primary instructor teaching both group classes and private sessions to men and women of all ages and abilities.
Katrena started teaching group exercise in 1995 working in health clubs and this led to her coming into contact with Pilates, which was new to the UK at this time. Katrena found that everything about Pilates made sense and was consistent with her experience of the best way to exercise.
She started her training with STOTT PILATES® in 1999, covering mat-based exercise from essential through to advanced level and then progressed her training on a full range of equipment and accessories.
Committed to ensuring that individual client needs are pre-eminent in her work, Katrena has a clear teaching structure for each client. This approach is very different from that of the usual large exercise classes that often frustrate clients and teachers alike.
Katrena also has a special interest in spinal rehabilitation and general back care and receives referrals from a local, well-respected medical professionals including GPs, osteopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors.
Sports performance improvements can also be achieved by working one-to-one with Katrena.
One such example of this would be how equestrians can benefit from posture realignment that can help to ensure you keep your horse aligned correctly when riding. Golfers, tennis players, footballers and many other sports professionals or enthusiastic amateurs can benefit from STOTT PILATES.
